I run all my electronics though it and then only run a single HDMI cable to my LCD TV. This is an amazing 7.1 surround sound system. Great system.
The sound is amazing, especially for the price. I finally settled on this after reading the many glowing reviews here on amazon and elsewhere. I'm very pleased with this purchase. It came quickly and in perfect condition. I did a lot of research before purchasing this item. This system, in my view, out performs many of the $1-3k range systems that I listened to in stores.I'd recommend purchasing some 16 gauge speaker wire as the wires that come with the speakers are a bit on the thin side.I live in an apt, so I don't have the luxury of turning any system up all the way, and I can assure you that this system performs well at all sound levels.
I only wish it came with a 5 disk DVD changer insted of the single disk player. (It's hard to find a complete sytem that has HDMI inputs). It has 2 HDMI inputs and one output to interface with game systems, Blue Ray players, DVD players and HDTVs. It's an all around great buy. I am very satisfied with the product. It has excellent sound quality. The automatic audio setup helped to optimize the sound quality.
I would recommend this product to others. Did not used enclosed speaker cable. Sounds great. No problems with install. The back speakers are not wireless though.
this is a nice system worth every penny i recommend hire a home theatre specialits if this is your first time hooking up a system cause if you dont the sound will no be good at all worthless unless you know what you are doing. sounds better than the movie theatre and decodes all dolby formats with ease. it took 4hrs to install and when it was finished the system was spectactular. now she wants a system like this i also have my toshiba hda- 35 hd player hooked up as well cable system. i purchased this from amazon and when i received it i said to my wife do she think i can install myself or hire a home theatre speacilits. well i hired the home theatre specialits boy was my wife right. my sister came over for a visit and was amazed by the sound when i played a blu-ray movie on my sony 550 player.
